PESHAWAR:
The Bajaur Deputy Commissioner, Fahad Wazir on Friday launched the anti-polio campaign which aims to vaccinate children living in the elected councils of the district.
The dedication ceremony was attended by the district police chief, deputy commissioner and representatives of health and relevant departments.
On this occasion, the DC also chaired a meeting to review the organization of the injection vehicle. He also directed the staff to work with integrity and achieve the set goals.
It is important to mention here that from the 13th of February in the nine union councils, children under the age of five will be vaccinated.
