Tom Kohler-Cadmore eager to learn from Babar Azam

Tom Kohler-Cadmore, who was retained by Peshawar Zalmi, is eager to learn from the newly appointed franchise captain, Babar Azam, in the upcoming eighth edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL).

While talking to the media on Saturday, the England batsman expressed his great joy in sharing the dressing room with one of the best batsmen in the world.

“Let’s be honest, to be able to play with Babar, it would be great,” Cadmore said.

“Being able to learn a thing or two from him will be good for my game.”

The 28-year-old also garnered praise on special occasions in the HBL PSL.

“Every time I come here, the quality of the bowling really impresses me and it’s challenging like a bat. It helped me a lot to improve my game, I hope to contribute to the team,” he said.

Cadmore believes that Zalmi have assembled a great combination of players for the eighth season, which will make it difficult to choose the playing XI.

“I know, it will hurt our team if we choose the right XI, because we have many talented boys. This is the kind of thing you like on your side,” he concluded.
