Former cricketer, Rashid Latif, said that the current management of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is trying to punish Shadab Khan for simply speaking the truth.
In the press conference after the loss of the second T20I against Afghanistan, captain Shadab said, “Now everyone understands the importance of Babar and Rizwan.”

Pakistan’s captain, Babar Azam, and wicketkeeper, Mohammad Rizwan were rested from the recent Afghanistan tour, which Pakistan lost 1-2.
Shadab’s statement mentioned above did not go well with the board, and now there is a discussion to remove him from the position of vice-captain in the limited position.
While reacting to the news mentioned on his YouTube channel, Latif criticized the forum for mentally torturing the Pakistani cricketers.
“There is only one person trying to speak the truth but them [PCB] trying to zip his lips. It bothers him so much that he quits cricket and becomes a psycho. Why 90 percent of Pakistani players become mental after leaving cricket? They have become a think tank because of the Pakistan Cricket Board,” said Latif.
“I don’t understand who brings these people into the council,” he concluded.
Babar will once again assume the role of captain in the upcoming T20I and ODI series against New Zealand.
According to sources, the top PCB officials were also not happy with Shadab’s decision-making in Afghanistan and have decided to rest him for the Kiwis.
Usama Mir is likely to be given a chance to replace Shadab as a leg-dancer in the team.
The New Zealand team will arrive in Lahore and play three T20Is from April 14-17 before traveling to Rawalpindi, where they will play the final two T20Is and the first ODI from April 20. -26 April. The tournament will conclude in Karachi, with the remaining four ODIs to be played from 30 April to 7 May.
